I want you to know today, you are not here by accident. You are not living just because. You have life because you have a purpose, you have a destiny to fulfill. You might not see yourself as an important being to cause an impact in this world but the truth of the matter is that everyday your life impacts someone. Make sure you’re impacting them in a positive way.
You are the salt of the earth…You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. (Matthew 5:13-16)
The world has a funny way of making us feel less than what we are. We unconsciously begin to measure our worth by what we have, what we look like, the places we go and people that we hang out with. But in the eyes of the One who created you, you are much greater than your own eyes can see.
How precious and weighty also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! (Psalm 139:7 AMP)
Don’t limit to yourself to what others are doing, remove the standard, go out in the world and give it all you have because you are equipped to be a conqueror! Do not be afraid to step out and do daring things to fulfill your purpose in life. Don’t look at yourself as inadequate to do great and amazing things. All throughout scripture God shows us that He uses ordinary & imperfect men and women to do some of His greatest works.
For instance lets look at Moses. This man stuttered really bad and was an assassin who decided to flee persecution. Mind you, he also properly suffered of an identity crisis not knowing where he belonged. Moses was born an Israelite yet raised a Royal Egyptian, and it wasn’t until he was older that he came to know the truth of who he was. If you don’t know why this would be an identity crisis, back then Israelites were the slaves of the Egyptians. Yet God later on used Moses to go back to Egypt and perform all sorts of miracles to free his people (the Israelites) from slavery and take them into the promised land.
I am sure if Moses had not chosen to trust God through all these daring things that could have gotten him killed, Moses wouldn’t be who we know him today as being “The cool dude that parted the Red Sea”. I just want you to know that just like God had a purpose for Moses, He has purpose for you too. You are not here unintentionally.
For I know the plans and thoughts that Ihave for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 AMP)
Every day you have breath of life, you have a purpose to keep living towards. If you don’t know what it is I dare you today to just ask God to guide you the way and show you what plans He has for you. I hope these words compel you just they have compelled me as I wrote them.
“If you’re alive, there’s a purpose for your life.”
